Lewis & Clark Journal

Well, if it wasn't for Sacagawega...they wouldn't have survivived..but, still!!  Lewis and Clark camped not 8 miles

from Red Quill Ranch (as the crow flies) in Lolo.

The Bitterroot Valley is steeped in history.

We have two homestead sites right here on our ranch. One, the Le Pierre Homestead ~ from 1907. There were several cabins and an old house that was worn out like lace.

The gold slough is located on that site along with one lone barn.

Somebody needs to have a dig for artifacts!  Summer fam project?

Then also, this IS part of the Sapphire Mountain Range. Another dig? Rings anyone?
